We’ll start Axion as an upgrade kit that attaches to existing manual wheelchairs. First, we’ll test it with rehabilitation centers and disability associations. We’ll handle the basic regulatory steps, work with local makers and an innovation hub to build and improve it, and use a mix of direct sales and donor-supported installs to reach users. After we prove the impact, we’ll gradually move into local manufacturing and wider distribution.
